Sigh......

Well, I won't be hosting Betty for Halloween. She just got to comedyswimfan089 today.

Hokay, now I got to explain that.

Way back in October 2006, Adult Swim- the night shift of Cartoon Network- had a contest to win an Adult Swim shotglass. One had to write a 33 word essay on why you should get it. An Adultswim.com board member by the of dizitickle won it by pledging to make it the Traveling Shotglass. She would take her shot and then pass it on to the next in line.

Adult Swim just had two rules to go with the shotglass:

1) You had to pass it on.

2) Wash it before you did.

At first, all one had to do was ask and you became the next in line. But as the number of people who wanted to be a member of the Swimmerhood of the Traveling Shotglass, or S.H.O.T.T.S., it was decided to choose the next member with a contest. The next SHOTTS came up with the contest and picked the winner. And the next did same, etc etc.

A journal, a scrapbook, and swag (a growing amount!) travels with SG, as she became known. SG had a casket to protect her from the stress of traveling. And she has been up and down the east coast, across the country and up to Alaska.

All safely until SHOTTS #40. When SG broke. It was an accident. But she had lasted about a year and a half and traveled thousand of miles. But it was not the end of the Swimmerhood!

Duzit had been gifted with two shotglasses- one to travel and one to keep. So Betty, SG's evil twin, stepped in to continue the journey.

Which brings this to me. Back in Febuary this year, I won the #51 SHOTTS slot with a love poem. Comedyswimfan had decided that as it was the week before Valetine's Day, his contest was to write a love poem between two Adult Swim characters. Had to be a canon relationship. So I wrote a Metalocalypse one from Nathan Explosion to Rebacca Nightrod, his girlfriend in "Girlfriendklok". This was my poem, sort of:

Ah, Rebecca...
I, ah, cherish you
Cherish you with the darkest cherish
That any b*tch could rate
You made me wear sweaters
Pastels, not much better
I'm glad you are in a coma
You are now the best right hand ever.
Go die.
Nathan

Except, I wrote "I, ah, hate you" and "You are now the best girlfriend ever". It seems an Admin who shall remain nameless had messed with the filters for Valentine's Day. I think it made my poem better, so I didn't try to change it back. Hey, it won me a date with the Shotglass!

My contest was to write a story of characters from Adult Swim shows interacting with SG as if they had won it. I picked my winner and it travels on.

Well, the contests were months ahead of the actually shotglass getting to anyone. You get to host her for a week and then ship it off to the next in line.

Betty arrived at comedyswimfan's today. So he will have her until Halloween and I'll get her the first week of November. And I'll post my adventures with her here.

Back on...

I guess that was cleared up. I'm not a spam blog. What I am I don't know.

At least I'll show off my dragons. Yep, another one with the Dragon Cave.

Got two adult dragons, 3 hatchlings, and 2 eggs- one about to hatch.

This is Charlies Adopt one today! and this is Toki2 Adopt one today!

So...

Not sure if this will get published as it's says my blog is being held due to spamming. Which is weird cause this is only my second post.

What do I say first?

Well, I'm here. I guess will be a bit of everything- stories, news, ramblings.

I'll write more when I'm up to it. Maybe post a story. In the mean time, seeing as it's October, that photo is me in the skull mask and my friend Nina back Halloween, 2006, at the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.
